The lovely Anne Hathaway got married last weekend, and the shots of the ceremony were a bit…fuzzy. I’m sure there are some official photos being shopped around to the tabloids, but those eager to see her custom-made Valentino gown had to settle with blurry images. There were plenty of questions: what were the details? What was the neckline like? Is that pink fabric? Well now you can see the fashion sketch for her dress here and find out for yourself!
I’m not usually a big fan of color in wedding dresses, but this looks amazing. I especially like the 1920s-esque headband and the straight neckline. I know Anne isn’t a very public celebrity, but I really hope she releases photos from her wedding day soon!

I didnt know it was pink! I couldnt tell from the pic either! But I love the dress & colored dressed. The white tradition to me seemed so outdated (but I dont fault others for wanting it) so I LOVE seeing colored dresses.
Gwen Stefani wore a pink dress. Didnt Reese Witherspoon get married in pink to Jim Toth too? A new trend perhaps?

My wedding dress will be light blue. I think weddings need to be de-traditionalized and more customized. Every person has their own style and their own personality… let it show! I’ve had enough of the stuffy church weddings with the white dresses and all the bridesmaids looking the same… blech. Do something fun, for crying out loud!

I think her dress is pretty. I love the idea of colored dresses. After all, there was a time when women just wore their best dress to get married in. Don’t get me wrong, I think white wedding gowns are gorgeous, too. I got married in a white dress–I love my dress, I felt so pretty in it
Every woman who gets married should wear whatever it is that makes her feel so beautiful and spectacular, regardless of color.

Not much of a light pink fan in general, so I think the dress is a miss. And what is that thing on her head? This kinda makes me think of a 1980s prom dress.
And I’m too traditional with weddings to like anything beyond white for a wedding gown haha

The sketch looks gorgeous but I don’t think the actual dress came out looking anything like it. The sketch was definitely better. Also the headpiece in the sketch looks kind of dainty and cute, but the actual one on Anne’s head looks so ginormous and ugly!
