I saw temptalia do swatches and stuff of this, and some of the eyeshadows, etc etc, aren’t exactly the best pigmentation, which is a bit of a disappointment
But the lip liners and the lipsticks look nice

Lol, I work for MAC & they made a HUGE hype over this & produced as little product as possible. Almost everything online soldout within the first few hours of release, & unless your at the store the minute it opens, you likely won’t get anything. They only sent my counter 5 of each product, they’ll be gone within the first hour of opening.

Also, we’re all confused as to why all of the shadows are shimmer – Marilyn only wore mattes.

I think the lipstick and liners look lovely, but it seems to me that it’ll be difficult for me to get my hands on a product without paying through the nose! Oh well. There’s plenty more makeup to be had. I just liked the novelty of the special packaging more than anything.

@babybug329@xanga - Yup. It releases this Thursday. I love the lipsticks, but we can’t even use our employee discounts on the collection until the 13th – there’s going to be NOTHING left by then. The packaging is what’s making it sell so quick – the photos on the packaging have never been released prior to the collection, so of course Marilyn collectors everywhere are going to be scrambling to get their hands on them. Then you have the people who buy like, 4 of each product so they can sell them on eBay for $60 a piece.
If you like the liners, though, they’re all in the permanent line.
