Just when I thought that the vodka companies had infused vodka with every flavor imaginable, Three Olives Vodka, the same folks that brought you S’mores and cake flavored vodkas have recently released a new flavor and it’s said to taste just like Fruit Loops. Say hello to Loopy, a dastardly delicious medley of tropical fruit and imported English vodka. I’m hungover just looking at it.
Don’t get me wrong, as dangerous as that stuff is (to me anyway), I really like flavored vodka sometimes. Blueberry vodka and soda with a lemon wedge is one of my favorite drinks, but to be honest, if I have more than three of them, I’m left the next morning with the biggest headache imaginable. I’m more of a “just one double whiskey on the rocks to sip all night” kinda gal… after all, I prefer to eat my calories. Lots of them.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if this vodka actually does well. After all, people love their fruity drinks, and everyone loves Fruit Loops, right? I’ve found some recipes for the new vodka, but in order to avoid a sugar overload, I think I’ll be ordering mine on the rocks.

This isn’t that new considering I got a bottle as a 21st birthday present in June. I’m not a big Vodka fan in general but this was something new and fun so I was game to give it a try. I tasted it first just as a shot and it was overwhelming hard to breathe afterward, the taste of the fruit loops is very apparent and I think added to the bite of the Vodka in general. I later tried it with milk after a bartender friend recommended it and I liked it much better, it softened the bite but did taste just like cereal.

I tried this at a family party last month and found it pretty vile, but I’m by far a gin-and-tonic or plain vodka-seltzer-lemon girl.

My friend brought this over a couple months ago and mixed it with milk. It was delish at first, but I couldn’t finish it. I felt like I was getting drunk at breakfast time.

I love this thing. Lol. It’s a great intro-drink. It’s not something I would drink all night–too sweet! But it’s good to get the party started! Just this and some Sprite and I’m good to go.

My best friend and I recently went out and had a few shots of this. It’s so good! It goes down really smooth as well. I have the Three Olives Bubble in my liquor cabinet (tastes like bubble gum!) but, the Loopy is so much better.

@wickedgood@xanga - For the record, it tastes AWESOME and if you make a bunch of different bottles with the different versions of Skittles, you can have pretty much the most brightly lovely liquor cabinet ever.
I hate Fruit Loops so I could never drink this
But it’s a pretty bottle!
