I haven’t been shy about my love for Rebel Wilson, so I am super honored to do this post for the Pitch Perfect Remix Blog Tour! Hitting theaters on September 28th, everywhere October 5th, get ready to get pitched slapped! No joke, this movie looks absolutely hilarious, and I have already assembled a group of gals to go see it with me the second it hits the big screen.

I’m going to be honest with you. I love musicals, singing, karaoke… I’m a total sucker for it. A proud member of the choir from 4th grade all the way through graduation, I was passionate. Why didn’t I try to sing outside of a choir setting? DEBILITATING STAGE FRIGHT. This does not apply to groups or karaoke… or car singing. Which I’m sure is the bane of my boyfriends existence on long road trips. Needless to say, I have constructed quite the impressive list of songs that make me feel as diva-like as I’m ever going to feel.

One thing that makes me super excited about this movie, is the soundtrack. It has some seriously singable covers of contemporary hits. My favorite is “Riff Off: Mickey/Like A Virgin/Hit Me With Your Best Shot/S&M/Let’s Talk About Sex/I’ll Make Love To You/Feels Like The First Time/No Diggity” medley. Are you kidding? I was asked to make my own playlist of songs that make me feel “pitch perfect,’ which was really easy for me because, like I said, this playlist pretty much already existed. This is just an extremely edited version. These are my go-to karaoke, sing in the car at the top of my lungs, feel good songs. Enjoy!
