We’ve all seen them: photos from adorable weddings filled with candles in mason jars, delicious-looking organic cupcakes and vintage wedding gowns. While I tend to like these lovely ceremonies, some people see them as gag-inducing hipster fodder. If you’re one of those folks, you may want to check out this graphic, just in case you suspect you may be unintentionally attending a hipster wedding.
Even though I like “hipster weddings” I find this tongue-in-cheek graphic to be pretty funny. And thanks to the popularity of Pinterest, I suspect that we’ll be seeing lots of these events in the future! Sorry, hipster haters: matrimonial DIY and kitsch is likely here to stay. [via Refinery 29]
What do you think of this graphic? Have you ever been to a hipster wedding?

I find the graphic amusing, but I have yet to attend a “hipster wedding.”

haha, oh no! My partner and I were planning our wedding before we got pregnant with baby #2 last year, so now it’s on hold. But we were definitely planning to have it at the little organic farm where my dad works (to save $$- free venue! Free flowers! free mason jars! lol). I definitely bought my dress on modcloth and was planning to wear a flower wreath in my hair. haha. My fiance is totally not a hipster though, and most of things he wanted (to wear cowboy boots and his mariachi shirt, traditional mexican papel picado, tamales and tres leches cake) will hopefully balance it all out a little. And my kids won’t be barefoot because, um, it’s a working farm.
