I love everything about Halloween…except for the pumpkin carving. Don’t get me wrong, I think finished product is great, and it’s always fun to have carving parties. But I’m naturally clumsy, and have had more than my share of literal run-ins with knives while trying to create the perfect pumpkin face. It may be wussy of me, but now I prefer to decorate them in non-dangerous ways. Here are 15 great ways to do so without breaking out the knives! (Find that top pumpkin DIY here.)
I’m not even into Hello Kitty, but I’m still mighty tempted to steal the above idea! Sure, I may look slightly nerdy breaking out the glue and paint while my friends are wielding blades, but if it spares my fingers that’s fine by me. Head on over to the source to see even more creative ideas! [via Gawker]
What do you think of not carving pumpkins? Which of these ideas is your favorite?

I have a unhealthy obsession with Hello Kitty. So, naturally I love the Hello Kitty pumpkin. And I dressed up as Hello Kitty for Halloween last year.
I mean carved pumpkins look good, if you take the time to do so. But it is messy. I rather paint designs on them. Or paint a pumpkin all white, and go from there. I’ll be going to the pumpkin patch next month. So, I can pick out some baby pumpkins to paint.
This definitely has inspired me. Some cool ideals as well.
