While I spend most of my time in basic tees, skinny jeans and cardigans, I do love polka dots. When executed correctly, it’s such a classic look, and the pattern is versatile enough to wear year-round. Whether it’s a simple bangle, a pair of flats, or a blouse or cardigan, I can’t wait to rock a lot of polka dots this Fall.

Collared Polka Dot Dress, Forever 21 – $24.80
I’m loving the collared dresses that I’ve been seeing at Forever 21 lately. Pair with a pair of solid colored flats or loafers, top bun and nude lips. 


Polka Dot Loafers, Gap – $49.95
During the work week, I live in basic tees and jeans… nothing too crazy. I think these would add the perfect pop to any basic outfit and plus, loafers are everywhere this Fall.


Black and White Polka Dot Leather Satchel, Zatchels – around $147
While this is the pricier option, I’ve been coveting their neon pink satchel for quite some time now. If you’re in need of a cute satchel, Zatchel is your place. They have pretty much every color and pattern you can imagine. Free People actually has one that’s almost identical to this one and it’s even on sale!

I love Designlovefest! Her blog and desktop wallpapers add the perfect pop of color to my otherwise blah work week. And of course, you can probably guess my favorite desktop wallpapers…


Sheer Swiss Dot Tights, Anthropologie – $18.00
I love my Anthropologie tights – when I can afford them, that is. Luckily for me (and my wallet), I always manage to find the same dotted tights at Wal-Mart and Target for about $5-10 a pair.


Bella Polka Dot Taupe Sweater, Ruche – $44.99
Whenever it starts to get cold outside, I basically slip on an oversized sweater and refuse to remove it until the Texas sun forces me to. I’m picturing this with a pair of black jeggings, messy waves or a side pony, red lips and maybe a pair of black patent Mary Jane flats. Heaven.
