Let me be the first to say that the silk stuff on a tree? That stuff is an absolutely bitch to clean up. You have to burn it to get it off, or the insects that make it will kill off the tree if it stays. I’ve lived in banjoville, Ohio my entire life, and there was one year where it was so bad we had to burn five or six trees because of this. -___- And when I say “burn the trees” I mean we contained the fire to the leaves/branches of the tree where the insects produce that “silk.” You don’t burn the entire tree, and the fire — if you know how to contain it properly — will do no damage to the tree and it will grow back beautifully as soon a Spring comes!

this is pretty sweet. i personally find the ones created without human interference/assistance/provided materials are the most beautiful. probably because that is JUST nature, with no help at all
