To be completely honest, I’ve been kind of underwhelmed with movies in the past few months. Usually there are at least a couple of movies a month I just have to see, but I haven’t been to a movie theater in awhile. However, that is about to change because there are several movies coming out this fall that I’m looking forward to seeing. Here are 5 movies I’m excited to see this fall:

1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower (September 21)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was one of my favorite books growing up and I’ve been waiting to see the film version for months. Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, and Ezra Miller star in the film adaptation of Steven Chbosky’s awesome novel. I’m excited to see Emma in a role other than Harry Potter. Plus, she speaks with an American accent!

2. Pitch Perfect (October 5)

This movie about an all-girls a capella group stars one of my favorite new actresses: Rebel Wilson! The trailer looks hilarious and I love female empowerment movies, so hopefully I enjoy this one.

3. Taken 2 (October 5)

Who didn’t love watching Liam Neeson be a badass in Taken? Well, he’s back for more in this sequel. This time, his ex-wife gets kidnapped instead of his daughter. I’m kind of surprised they decided to make a sequel considering the original wrapped up the story, but I’m looking forward to see how this one is different.

4. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 (November 16)

This is the final film in The Twilight Saga series. Even though I was never a huge fan of the books, I have enjoyed the movies, so I will definitely be seeing the last one. I’m excited to see Edward and Bella’s daughter Renesmee as well as Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s interaction on the promotional tour.

5. This Is 40 (December 21)

Remember Knocked Up, the movie where Seth Rogen got Katherine Heigl pregnant? Well did you ever think it would have a spin-off? Yeah, me either. However, comedy genius Judd Apatow thought it was a good idea and created a spin-off movie with Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. The trailer looks funny and I always enjoy Apatow’s movies, so I will see this one when it comes out in December.
