Do you remember Dunkaroos? How about Jell-o Pudding Pops? Perhaps even Hi-C Ecto Cooler (the one with the Ghostbusters green fellah)? Although you might have a harder time finding these in grocery stores nowadays, look no further because now you can simply make ‘em yourself! For example, to make the one above, homemade Dunkaroos, simply use some graham crackers or Teddy Grahams + Funfetti icing!
When I was a kid, I had the most ridiculous sweet tooth (okay, I still do). I loved those pantry snacks in all their sugary, sweet, sprinkled, brightly-packaged goodness. Nowadays, I love cooking and making fun things in weird ways. So these recipes are practically a perfect melding of my childhood and early twenties’ food styles! I also love 90s themed parties (I always dress as either Daria or Angela from My So-Called Life) and am definitely going to make some of these for the next one.
My other favorite is the DIY homemade Snowballs from Hostess!
