Here are my current top ten (but not in any order) beauty must-haves for under $10.
Goody Double Wear 2-in-1 Ponytail Bracelet, around $5 at Walgreens
I always wear my hair ties around my wrist anyway, so it’s awesome to have that extra bit of shine on my wrists. I also love how it makes the everyday ponytail a bit more polished.
Maybelline Colorshow Nail Color, around $3 at Target
I love their bright and bold colors, and they are surpringly long-lasting. As long as you apply a topcoat, expect the color to stay put for at least a week! My favorite is Amethyst Ablaze.
Maybelline SuperStay 10-Hour Lip Stain, around $7 at Target
These folks aren’t lying. I apply my lip stain (along with a little lip balm over it) before I leave for work, and it is still there into the night before I go out. The lip stain also tastes and smells a little like Kool Aid, so that’s always a plus.
Rimmel London Glam Eyes HD Shadow, around $6 at Walgreens
These eyeshadows are so cute, I love the Union Jack details. The price isn’t bad either.
Mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint, around $8 at Avon
Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner Pencil, around $8 at Ulta
This eyeliner pencil is super easy to use and it doesn’t require sharpening. I bought the waterproof pencil in black.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes, around $8 at Ulta
I love their grapefruit scented products. They smell great and they’re oil-free! Perfect for those nights where it’s just too hard to wash all of your makeup off.Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm, around $3 at Target
Bright lip balm that tastes great and keeps my lips hydrated. For this upcoming cold weather, it’s a must-have.Eos Lip Balm, around $3 in most drugstores
I can’t get enough of these things. I’ve purchased them in every color (the lemon and sweet mint are my favorites) and they’re almost impossible to lose in my purse. I’ve also tried just about every chapstick under the sun and these are the best keeping my lips hydrated while it’s cold outside.Rimmel Volume Accelerator, around $8 at Wal-Mart
What are some of your favorite beauty products under $10?

Some of my favorite beauty products that are under $10 include: Avon Glazewear Lipgloss, Maybelline Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara, Secret roll on deodorant, Revlon Lip Butter, China Glaze nail polish, OPI Nail polish. I buy Target brand makeup-remover wipes, cotton rounds, nail polish remover and cotton balls; they’re basic products but they get the job done. I used to buy ponytail holders from Claire’s that I loved, but the quality has declined over the years. Now I buy Goody brand ones, they’re okay but not quite as stretchy and firm holding as the ones I loved years ago. I also have a eyelash curler from Maybelline that I’ve had for years. (I’ve replaced the rubber pads a couple times already.) The curve of the curler works well for my eye’s shape and the price is nice.

That Maybelline lipstain & EOS lipbalm are AWESOME!! Maybelline’s color sensational lipstick is the best thing ever. The price varies but I never see it for more than $7-9. It’s just as good as the Mac lipstick I like.

I have used that Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in the past and it sucked. It is far from waterproof sadly. Luckily, though, NYC makes a great one for less than $5 that even stands up to my waterline for hours.
I always almost buy those hair elastics with the metal on them. Maybe next time I’ll finally give in! They look like a great way to dress up a ponytail.
Ooh, and Nivea Kiss of Milk and Honey lip balm. Smells and tastes faintly of, well, milk and honey. And the moisture lasts.

@blackspiders@xanga - weird that the eyeliner doesn’t last a while for you! if that nyc one is better, then i MUST try it. you should try the goody 2-in-1 hair elastics. i love them!!

@misswheeler - Does the metal part snag on hair? I have been using Goody’s hair ties without the little metal clasp-y thing because I used to always yank out a chunk of hair. ^^;;

@bittersweetromantic@xanga - Nope! It looks like one of those tube bracelets.. and there is no “claspy” part of the metal where it meets, so it doesn’t snag your hair. I was concerned about that too when I first looked at them, and made sure before I bought them!

@misswheeler - Oooooh that’s pretty nifty then! I’ll definitely look into it. I used to love those hairties with the sparkly beads to wear as bracelets, but they also wreaked some massive havoc on my hair. (Oh middle school me. Why.)

I’d prefer edible chapsticks. You know, those made of beewax etc. It just makes me feel “psychologically” better.

The 10 hr lip stain, isnt my favorite, but it does work well. I just hair after having it on to long it fades onto everything =/

Maybelline Falsies mascara! I love it. I also love the eye shadow palettes by Wet n Wild.
