President Obama might have 99 problems to think about as the presidential election nears, but having the support from some of the biggest names in the game ain’t one! On Tuesday, Hip-Hop’s power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce threw an exclusive fundraiser for President Obama’s re-election campaign at Jay-Z’s 40/40 night club in New York City.
To party with the POTUS cost $40,000 a ticket, which is probably why about 100 people were in attendance. Find out more about the fun-filled fundraiser on the next page!
Following a brief introduction by Beyonce, President Obama cited the “Single Ladies” singer as an inspiration to his daughters, Malia and Sasha who were jealous they could not attend the soiree. The president’s signature humor won over the crowd as he added that since the birth of Blue Ivy Carter, he and Jay-Z have bonded over fatherhood and the fact that their wives are “more popular than we are.”
After raising $4 million in a night, the dynamic duo snapped a couple shots with the POTUS. Beyonce looked ravishing in a red Oscar De La Renta dress and bejeweled belt, while Jay-Z was dashing in dark, two-piece suit. [via The New York Times]
Are you ready to hit the polls, lovelies?

He’s too busy to meet with the prime minister of Israel whose country is about to be wiped out by a nuke, but he has plenty of time to hobnob with the rich and famous.
The upcoming election will give Americans a chance to choose someone who’s serious about be President of the United States.
Clearly, Barry has other things on his mind.

Anyone who thinks it’s great that Obama is attending all of these celebrity parties and ridiculous fundraisers, is a moron. I find it gawdy, embarrassing, and obnoxious. It’s just blatant disrespect and shows the disconnect between the average America and our political leaders. (obviously, I’m fully aware that Obama is the first to rub elbows with the rich and famous) which is the very reason why congress and presidents shouldn’t have such high salaries and entitlements.

This whole fundraising policy is scandalous in itself.
No one should be allowed to donate to a party and thus make it dependant on them/their lobby, and make other parties depend on others.
