I almost laughed while writing the title to this post, because it poses what may be the most asinine questions on the planet. Of course Hendricks and Dennings are total babes, and the mentioned “flaws” only lend to their hotness. But apparently Yahoo sees them as “imperfections”, along with other celeb traits that are totally normal.
Recently Yahoo posted a charming story entitled “Stars who embrace their imperfections.” While I’m already not on board with pointing out peoples’ physical flaws, the writer really went the extra mile here:
They also essentially called Chloe Sevigny unattractive:
C’mon, Yahoo. Not cool. If you’re looking for “imperfect” stars, maybe start with the ones that beat their wives or drive around drunk. Not total babes like these. Head on over to the source to see even more people who were called out! [via Buzzfeed]
What do you think of Yahoo‘s story? Do you agree with it?

Ugh, Yahoo! I think that’s absolutely sick! I personally love all of these actors and it just frustrates me that they can’t be admired for their breadth of work first as opposed to their looks. Should everyone look alike or what, people? It’s 2012 and we’re STILL upholding archaic ideals of beauty.

Yahoo=pathetic, as usual. There must not have been a bulletin on Kanyay/Kim to work with that day.

From the little bits you posted I only truly agree with Steve’s portion. I remember in an interview with him over 10 years ago when he was starting to make good money they would ask him if he’d fix his teeth, and he said no, he’s lived with them that way his whole life why change it now just because people find it unattractive. Don’t know who any of those girls are, but they seem alright from their photos. Imperfections are what make people perfect anyway. It’s differentiates one from another.
“Now there are those, of
course, who do not share my perceptions, it’s true. When I say that all
my woman are dazzling beauties, they object. The nose of this one is too
large; the-the hips of another, they are too wide; perhaps the breasts
of a third, they are too small. But I see these women for how they truly
are… glorious, radiant, spectacular, and perfect, because, I am not
limited by my eyesight.” –

Yahoo exists still?

I think they try to make it look like they try to make people feel better about their imperfections, but often it achieves the contrary.
Like “xy shows you can be confident even with curves” and then you see a woman who isn’t skinny but no where near fat either and maybe at your personal goal weight. So you think I can be confident at my goal weight? How nice of you.

Holy boobs, Hendricks!
Anyway…
Yahoo is utter shit.

Why are you talking about my future wife like this?
I love Kat Dennings and her pasty skin.

The answer to both questions is no.

I like Christina’s bust size, but she is a little thick in the belly and love handle area. The red carpet photos usuall show her pretty curvy looking because of the way she wears her bras and dresses but I don’t think she is really skinny/average.
Don’t know who Sevigny is but she doesn’t look attractive to me either.

Yahoo does have a way of using such headlines to make readers lash out in their reply boxes.

Yahoo’s job is to put up “stories” that will generate “hits” so they can sell advertising and make money. People will nearly always “hit” more stories that rouse up anger or disagreement than one’s that agree with their sentiments. SO…Yahoo excels at the ridiculous because…it makes them MONEY.
Those women look fine except for the appearance of having swallowed some cantelopes that didn’t go down too well. There is such a thing as flaunt it if you got it and there is such a thing as looking ridiculous because you’re about to choke on your own boobs. Cleavage = attractive/alluring, this just looks stupid

Who decides what an imeperfection is in the eyes of others?
I swear the arrogants of the many is so irritating. I know most people don’t take those things seriously but
there are the large group of people who feed on it’s everyword and don’t know what they really find beautiful. It’s sad how it really does hurt and effect and brainwash people.
If we all fit into that one perfect mold the only differences would be our hair color and cuts. Everyone would look the same and many people would be unsatisfied in many ways.

Yahoo!News is like the National Enquirer of online reporting. They pretty much write opinion blogposts and throw them up there, calling them news.
Hendricks was way hotter as Saffron in Firefly. Just saying.
And pale skin + dark hair is GREAT.

Chloe Sevigny is popular because she gave a blow job on camera in Brown Bunny. I’ve loved her ever since.
