In this age of technology, I often worry that clocks and watches are going to become obsolete. While it is nice to simply glance at my phone or computer screen for the time, the vintage fashion-lover in me wants everyone to be sporting elegant watches, or to have a grand clock hanging on their wall. But it seems that some designers feel the same way I do, and are creating clocks whose style people can’t deny. I feel like some of those would be, err, less-than-effective at actual time telling. But they’re all super cool. haha.

@mynotebooks@xanga - How are they less than effective? You’re telling time based on the movement of the arms, not the writing on the clock.

@TheBottomandBack@xanga - Well, yeah for getting a rough estimation of the time. But some of them, like the 4th picture with all the words or the Bubble Gum one, it’d be hard to look at it and say ‘oh, it’s 8:13!’ Or something like that. Maybe I’m just not so good at telling time without all the tick marks, haha.
