Now & Then was by far one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. Anytime there was a trip to Blockbuster, it was on my list. If you have never seen this movie, even as an adult, I highly recommend it. I even had the soundtrack. It dealt with all the things I was feeling at the time. Puberty, boys, hormones… It was just the perfect film at the perfect time.

I always related to Christina Ricci‘s character the most. The scene where she tapes her boobs down because she is too much of a tom-boy to deal with the idea of becoming a woman… but quickly gives that up when a crush develops on the cute neighborhood boy (Devon Sawa! Btw, you get to see his naked butt in this movie. My friends and I would always try to pause it at the exact perfect moment). I could relate. I went from tom-boy to boy-crazy pretty quickly.
