You know those random things it seems like everyone but you can do? No matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem so master how to do these things. Well, I have a lot of things I wish I could do, but here are my top five:
1. Walk in heels over 3 inches high
I’ve been tall my whole life, so I rarely wore heels growing up. Now that I am older, I do have to wear heels a bit more often, but I am terrible at walking in them and am still very much a flats girl. I never practiced when I was a teenager because I only wore them a couple of times a year, so to this day, I physically cannot walk in heels that are more than three inches high. I will fall on my face. I am so envious at girls who can walk in five-inch pumps like it’s no big deal and wish I could do the same.
2. Whistle
No matter how hard I try, I still can’t whistle. I’ve had several people try to teach me over the years, but have had no luck.
3. French braid
How do people do this? It seems so complicated with all of the different pieces of hair. I can regular braid fine, but french braids just seem so much cooler. I always used to get jealous in elementary school when my friends would french braid their hair. I’ve tried it on myself, but it just ends up looking like a jumbled mess.
4. Parallel Park
I am the absolute worst parallel parker in the world. I always used to think it was because I drive a big car, but I’ve tried it in smaller cars and I still can’t do it. I’m so jealous of people that can whip their car into a tiny spot like it’s no big deal while I’m stuck parking far away where there’s enough space for me to pull up against the curb.
5. Do a cartwheel
Yeah, I’m the girl that sucks at cartwheels. I used to try so hard at recess in elementary school to do a cartwheel, but I never could do a half-way decent one. I have zero upper body strength, so I also suck at push-ups and pull-ups.
What are some things you wish you could do, but can’t? Tell me in the comments below!

I have always been jealous of people that can snap. I can’t. I’ve been trying since I was a little kid; I’m 17 now and I can’t snap for anything!

I can’t ride a bike. But that’s alright because 95% of cyclists are douchebags

I’ve always been jealous of people who seem to be naturally and flawlessly talented at music. I’m sort of learning how to play the piano and I’m doing alright, but I could never be as good as some people who grew up with music and find reading notes as easy as reciting the alphabet.

I wish I could fishtail braid! I’ve watched youtube tutorials and it looks SO easy but then I try to do it on my own hair and it just won’t work.

I wish I could French braid as well, I’ve tried to teach myself plenty of times but I just end up getting frustrated. I wish I was flexible enough to do yoga, I wish I could enjoy sports and I wish I could pick up foreign languages really easily.

I can walk in heels, whistle & do a cartwheel! I can teach you! But just like @ask_ashleyyy@xanga - I can’t ride a bike. Which most of the time doesn’t matter, but sometimes it does.
I wish I had a better sense of direction… I’m SO awful with them. I also with I was a little more artistic. I can’t draw or make crafts or anything like that.

I can’t do 4 out of those things, either! I can’t whistle, do a cartwheel, (I did lopsided ones when I was little, but they don’t count, lol), parallel park, or walk in heels. I have walked in heels before, but not 5 inch ones. And I can only parallel park if there are no other cars in the parking spaces. I just KNOW I’ll hit a car if I try it with other cars nearby!
I also can’t blow bubbles with my gum.

I can’t do any of these things either! haha

Aside from perhaps whistling, those are all very learnable skills.

LOL I could do all of those things at one time. I absolutely cannot read music.
I can’t just walk up to a stranger and start a conversation. Can’t speak in public. Can’t sing in public. Cannot read written directions and make sense of them.So I guess not everyone can do everything. But I used to be able to French braid my daughter’s hair and all of her friends. But it took a lot of practice todo my own.

wedge or chunky styled 3″ heels or higher is easy to walk in if you still want to enjoy walking in high heels. they aren’t as sexy as the stiletto thin heels, but practice with the other styles, and maybe you’ll get the hang of it.
I wish I could sing like mariah carey

walking in high heels? hey you don’t have to walk very far! The thing I used to practice is wearing sexy hosiery and practice crossing your legs, sitting like a lady. The walking part is minimal. Don’t try driving a car in them, you will ruin the heel quickly. You can wear them to work, but take a pair of flats in a tote bag. Just slip the heels on and walk in the hallsways a bit during the day. Put them on and teeter to the coffee/break room. Don’t try to wear them 8 hours! Don’t wear them walking out to lunch with your co-workers! You will totally kill your legs and calf muscles! It is just an illusion of sexiness and style Think of them more as a costume prop like a wig or formal gown. You don’t wear these for long periods either. Consider kitten heel/baby stilettoes, which are tiny but equally sexy. A simple 1″ or 2″ heel with peep toe can be as sexy as a towering heel and much safer. Birdcage heels are hot if you can find them.

You must be my spirit animal – I can’t do any of these either.
