Admittedly, I’m a huge fan of J-Lo, one of the classic Queens of Curves. But what about this bodysuit, which she worked on the streets of New York?
Here’s the argument for the outfit: Bodysuits are one of those pieces that haven’t really been appreciated in the fashion world. They have the potential to be so flattering! J-Lo’s also accessorizing the jumpsuit perfectly — simple but classy jewelry and clutch, sunglasses in the same color family, and heels that give her legs LOTS of structure and lets the leg sections flow. The bodysuit is also a very chic, modern tone. Not to mention it’s a lovely color for the fall season. It’s not Saturday Night Fever-dated!
Aaaaaaaand here’s the argument against it: The biggest overall challenge with bodysuits? Avoiding a lumpy look thanks to the constantly-clingy fabric. J-Lo definitely made the right choice of bra, seeing as there aren’t many lines up top. But unfortunately, her lower half looks a bit cut off at the hip. It’s not her fault — it’s very hard to find lingerie that doesn’t create lines on a bodysuit. Maybe the she should have gone a size up, just to prevent unflattering clinging? Maybe, but then she might have lost some of the all-over sex appeal that a bodysuit has the potential to create.
What do you think, Lovelies? Did J-Lo nail it or miss it?

I don’t think a jumpsuit looks good on anyone. But hey, if they like it, they like it.

It’s a little tight around the hips and thigh area. Overall I think the colour and execution is a hit. She should have bought it one size larger and had it altered to fir her curves better.
