The recent cool weather in Texas has me aching for Fall. I’ve already been saving up my money to buy some cool-weather pieces, and I found some pretty darn good ones.
This Fall, I’m really digging muted nail polish, polka dots, gray & navy and tiny jewelry pieces. And I’m already saving my money for as many cardigans and oversized sweaters as I can.
Necklaces: Tolovana necklace, In God We Trust heart pendant, Mini-Bow ring
Jacket: Navy Hooded Polka Dot jacket (less than $40!)
Top: Étoile Isabel Marant Nanette top
iPhone Cases: Incase Animal Print, Floral
Shoes: Chelsea boot, Tie wedge, Glittered oxford (less than $30!)
Most of these pieces listed above are pieces I’m going to emulate, but I jumped at the chance to score that polka dot jacket and those glittered oxfords. Truthfully, whenever I want something that’s a little more expensive than I like, I simply just stop going out to eat so much and cut back on my Starbucks runs in the morning and drinks at the bar. When I see how much money I’ve actually saved in the process, it’s pretty embarrassing. And most of these pieces are super easy to find elsewhere for cheaper. For example, Forever 21 has tons of smaller charm bracelets and necklaces, and you can always customize regular shoes to make them brand new and unique for any season!

@miss_lyrical@xanga - i know! i was pretty sad when i saw the price, but i figured since it’s a pretty basic top, it won’t be too difficult to find one just like it for a fraction of the price.

definitely my style. I love fall because it’s so easy to go comfy-cool. AND I get to give my leather moto jacket some use again! I’ve never tired of it for 4 years now.
