They are the perfect design for cool autumn nights. And they look great on just about any figure, too!

These are my absolute favorite kind of pajamas, and not without good reason. This is a design that you can wear during almost any season, just because of all the fabrics currently on the market. But the prime season for these kind of jammies appears to be fall, just because it’s between two seasons with dramatically different weather. They’re cut loosely enough so that they only graze the skin lightly (unlike a lot of winter pajamas), yet the sheer amount of coverage can block off stray breezes and trap in heat the body produces while you sleep. Perfect logic, right?

Well, that and looking like Audrey Hepburn.

Also, this is very important: This design is pretty much universally flattering. There’s no direct emphasis on any part of you except the neck and face (the bust is kinda-sorta drawn out, but not nearly as much), so any figure can look good in it. It borrows from men’s fashion in that it’s sexy in its subtlety. With so little skin exposed, these pajamas somehow end up being just as sexy as that skimpy little nightie in your top shelf. Oh come on, we all have one.

Oh yeah. Work it!

It’s going to see what happens with this pajama style this season. People definitely started thinking about pajamas after Rihanna showed up in pajamas at the Battleship movie premiere. Add in the fact that Louis Vuitton launched super-luxurious menswear pajamas last fall… I think it could really happen! Especially with all the cute options last night.

What do you think of menswear pajamas? Are they well-suited for the weather where you live?
