Everyone’s buzzing about how Kate Middleton’s supposedly pregnant. But after false rumors surfaced earlier this year, should we take this news seriously?

It’s safe to say that a lot of people would be excited if Kate Middleton were pregnant. In fact, a story surfaced last year in In Touch that Kate Middleton was pregnant. Enough, a lot of people got excited. However, the story ended up to not be true. So why should we believe this new story from Star?

The evidence seems pretty thin right now — there’s supposedly a “palace source” (or “sources”) that leaked this story, which also happened with the In Touch story.  One of the supposed “smoking guns” to Kate’s pregnancy is the fact that the dress she wore at a Diamond Jubilee event apparently had to be let out two inches. You know, to produce “breathing room for her bump.”

Really, people? Two inches? I’ve had times where I would have loved to let something out two inches because I’d had a hearty cheeseburger that day! It doesn’t seem like a large enough change to imply pregnancy. And the “Not Waist-ing Away” caption is just rude.

Me, I’m not buying this story. Unless the “palace source” that leaked this story to the press is revealed to have some credibility, it sounds like maybe the tabloid magazines are desperate to get more Kate Middleton news. Or they’re just picking on her for gaining a little bit of weight (because goodness forbid some celebrity gains a bit of weight!). Who know? Maybe Kate’s last pregnancy was real, and she ended up losing the baby. That would be a tragic event for her to go through, and it makes sense that she and the rest of the Royal Family would want it to appear as if the pregnancy never happened. But even if that’s true, I don’t think there’s enough evidence present to say that Kate Middleton’s pregnant right now. Though we’ll see what happens in nine months…

Do you think Kate’s pregnant? Or do you think it’s all just hearsay, like last time?
