Yikes. Mom of the Year Peaches Geldof may want to invest in a Bluetooth… or better yet, helmet for her baby.
Good. Lord. Yeah, most of us have probably been dropped once or twice by our parents, and it (hopefully) was an accident… but seriously? I’ve dropped my phone once instead of almost dropping a CHEESEBURGER. (True story. The phone survived, and the cheeseburger was delicious.) Priorities, people… priorities. I saw something similar to this at the grocery store over the weekend and it made me sick to my stomach.
How do you feel about this incident? [via Buzzfeed]

3 things: Who is this person to begin with, who names their daughter Peaches, and how does this even happen? It defies physics

Aw, poor baby. I read Peaches Geldof twittered the whole incident saying the mayor of London should do something about the potholes. She said the baby was strapped in when the baby fell, but judging by the pics, I think she was trying to save face after the paparazzi took those pics. After her kid fell, she was still on her phone. What the?

@heart_leigh@xanga - ugh. i know. the potholes are there and something should probably be done about them, but if she managed to wreck her baby stroller and not drop her phone, i’d probably tell her that the issue isn’t the with the potholes. so sad.

@P0RCELA1N_D0LL@xanga - LOL.

Spills happen. I had something like this happen when I was pushing my daughter in the stroller and hit a bump in the sidewalk. My daughter had undone the straps and flew out of the stroller. Had I been talking on the phone, I would have flung it to the ground to pick my baby up and inspect the damage…. Poor kid.

I don’t correct things often, but hopefully it was an accident. Yeah she looks like a great parent.

“Yeah, most of us have probably been dropped once or twice by our parents, and it (hopefully) wasn’t an accident… but seriously?” LOL I’m guessing it’s supposed to be “was”
It’s funny (and by funny, I mean sad) that in the last picture, she’s back on the phone…before she picks up the baby.

You mean the potholes on the sidewalk, or the ones in her head?

LMAO and even as she squats to retrieve her fallen daughter, she remains with phone clasped between ear and shoulder. Forsooth!

The child wasn’t strapped in, which is obvious by the photos, and who KEEPS TALKING ON THE PHONE when their child has just fallen head first onto a concrete pavement? I mean, accidents happen and I know the roads in London are awful, so the child falling out isn’t newsworthy, but the fact that she stays on the phone while sorting out her (possibly injured or unconscious) child, is pretty disgusting.

@PAPER__x__HEART@xanga - LOL!! Sorry I was on my phone and not paying attention! BOOM!

I’m with everyone else… accidents happen but come on the phone is not important! Drop it hang up whatever! -_-;

Her name is Peaches. What did you expect?

Who the fuck just keeps talking on the phone while their baby falls out of its stroller? “Oh, yeah, the baby just fell out for a sec. Blah blah blah…”
The phone is replaceable and looks like it even has a protective case. The baby, however, is supposed to be strapped into the stroller and is not replaceable. Then again, considering this is a young socialite named Peaches, I’m not surprised.

I feel a lot of things, most strongly regarding the advertisement on the bottom of the pics.

This might be the first time that iv’e wanted to go “Chris Brown” on a woman!

What I don’t understand is why she’s still on her phone when the baby is on the ground!!!! Get off the phone and pick your baby up. What the hell.

In the first picture I was thinking “well maybe it didn’t occur to her to drop the phone”… then I saw the second picture. :/

The part that is bothering me is that strollers usually take two hands to steer properly. Just my experience, of course I didn’t have a fancy stroller but I ain’t rich. But then she doesn’t drop anything she’s holding to pick up the baby, I feel bad for her. I have no doubts she didn’t want her baby injured but dang… drop the stupid crap you are holding. And I hope the poor baby was okay. And maybe she wasn’t talking on the phone still, but just put it there to hold it while she bent down.

YEA the mayor should do something about the potholes just like you should put that phone down. N if you weren’tso worried about who u was talking to you could of saw the pothole. That baby was not strapped bc if he was he wouldn’t be right there.

1 hand is rummaging in her bag, leaving 1 hand to pick up the baby…

@MomWithoutaMinivan@xanga - Exactly. Accidents happen to all of us. It’s the fact that she’s still got her phone glued to her face while attempting to retrieve her infant from the ground like a bag of oranges or something.
guest
@Manic_Butterflies@xanga - Um, yeah. Did you read my whole comment or just the first part? Because I said if I were on the phone when that happened to me and my daughter, my phone would have been flung to the ground in order to pick up my daughter and make sure she was okay. In other words, I was saying that it is NOT okay for that phone to be glued to her face after her baby just took a pretty nasty tumble.

@MomWithoutaMinivan@xanga - Which is why I said “exactly”. I was agreeing with you.
guest
@Manic_Butterflies@xanga - *Facepalm* yeah. Sorry. I took your “exactly” out of context.

@MomWithoutaMinivan@xanga - Understandable, tone can be hard to read on the internet.
