One things I love for fall, even more than the bright boots or the cardigans and sweaters, are socks. Since I was a little kid, I’ve been obsessed with weird, colorful, ridiculous socks. I have three full drawers purely of socks (including a TON of those seasonal $1 ones from Target). As you can see above, I don’t match patterns — it makes laundry easier & you never have to throw one away if its partner gets lost — but I always have to coordinate length and thickness, which can be tricky with some crazier pairs.

Because of this, I was incredibly excited while searching for boots to notice that there were suddenly many, many more fun, patterned socks in stores than usual. Legwear-specific stores have always stocked crazy ones, but they can often get pretty pricey. However, the more stores that stock ‘em, the cheaper they are and the more options are available!
