Dang, Miley Cyrus! You are making us painfully aware that you are not a Hannah Montana anymore. Far from it. These are some photos from her first photo shoot with her new controversial doo, and I have to admit that this hair style is really growing on me. I really love this look on her! I would have never guessed that she would want or could pull off such an edgy look, but she does.
Okay, so she looks a tiny bit scary to me in this top photo… but it is by far the ‘scariest’ one in the bunch. She really seems to be channeling her inner P!NK, Edie Sedgwick or Agyness Deyn and I have to give her credit. She’s doing it right. See more of these photos under the cut and on Miley’s website.

I don’t really like the photos very much. Or her hair, but her arms look nicely toned instead of twig like, so that’s nice.

I like it! It’s certainly a bold move and I think I prefer her with long pretty hair, but this just gives her a different image and I understand that she wants to be seen as someone who’s older and not like Hannah Montana….

I don’t see why people give such a big fuck about it. It shouldn’t be “controversal” at all. Stars go through different looks all the time, and hair does grow back. It’s like the Emma Watson hair freakout all over again. I think Miley pulls it off, personally.
