I already told you about my favorite old Hollywood couple, but I also have a newer, still presently alive and together couple that I think is fantastic, too. Featured recently on 20/20, Jeana and Jesse have some of the funniest YouTube videos I’ve ever seen. The pair, self-described as “Jersey Shore meets Jackass,” have been together for upwards for six years. Somewhere in those six years, they starting making a habit of pranking one another and filming their exploits for all of the Internet to see. And the Internet loves them: they have over one million subscribers to their channel and have well over 200,000,000 views on their videos. 

Some of their exploits include:

  • Jesse leading Jeana to believe she had eaten a cricket in a meatball
  • Jeana convincing Jesse she was pregnant…for a month
  • Jesse putting a lobster in the shower
  • Jesse waving a hair extension around to make Jeana think he chopped a chunk of her hair
  • Jeana using glue as massage oil for Valentine’s Day

My favorite, though, are these two, in which Jesse scares the daylights out of Jeana and Jeana swiftly counteracts with an even better prank of her own.


While hilarious, I also think that there is something to be gained from seeing such a happy, ridiculous couple enjoy one another this way. Even when somebody infuriates you, if it’s not worth breaking up over, laughing it off is often the best road to reconciliation. Even if they’re not always nice, they always seem to hug it out in the end and just enjoy the hilarity of one another’s company. They can also be interpreted as teaching us to not get mad, just get even… but either way: they’re my favorite Internet couple.
