At the 2012 Venice Film Festival this week, Kate Hudson opted for a very sheer, very dramatic nude gown from Atelier Versace’s 2012 Fall Collection. A whole lot is going on in this look: not only does it have cut-outs and sparkle, it also bares her gorgeous toned shoulders and drapes beautifully over her curves. However, it also seems like she may have opted out of wearing a slip underneath, revealing quite a bit of skin under the dress, as well. While I’m not opposed to sheer gowns, I’m not sure how I feel about the thick cut-outs or the way that the level of sheerness distracts from the beauty of the dress itself.

I like it and I think she looks better than the model, but it doesn’t do much for her boobs. It’s not THAT bad, though. I’ve seen many dresses that lack more in the boob department.
