Scarfs are quickly becoming a staple piece in many women’s closets and with fall quickly approaching, there is no better time than now to wear one. With so many fabric types and patterns available, scarfs can be paired with almost any outfit for a fashionable and sassy touch.
While there are a couple of classic ways to tie a scarf, there are also some not so well known ways to tie one to make it stand out from the others. Here are 5 fun and different ideas for tying a scarf that you should try.
Scarf Bow
Starting with the scarf evenly around your neck, tie it just like you would a regular bow. It helps to have a really long scarf for this one in order to get the full effect of the bow.
Double Loop Wrap
Starting with the scarf evenly around your neck, loop both ends around your neck once bringing both ends to your sides again. Then make one knot in the front.
Knotted Loop
Before putting the scarf on you, put both ends together and make one knot. Then, put the entire scarf around your neck.
Muffler Scarf
Using a wide scarf, take two opposite corners and tie them in a knot at one of your shoulders leaving the rest of the scarf laying free on your chest. It will look similar to a bandana.
Neck Rosette
Put the scarf around your neck like normal with both ends hanging evenly at your sides. Then. Twist the scarf tightly all the way down and wrap the scarf around itself in a circular motion and tuck in the ends, similar to how you would do a bun in your hair. The end result will look like a little rose or flower.

Living in this region of Texas, I can only really wear a scarf for a few weeks… but I love the scarf bow and neck rosette!

I don’t understand the knotted loop.
Also, how would the neck rosette stay in place? It says it’s like a bun, but with a bun you use an elastic. I am scarfly challenged, apparently.
