Since it’s dingy at work and can get quite impersonal in our unlit (no sunlight in the room), I like to wear things that are fun and bright to match the sunshine when I do go out for lunch break.
It also happens to be the last 2.5 weeks before I stop dressing like this for work since I’ll be back in classes and will be going to work in more casual clothing.
My aunt gave me this skirt when I was 12 and a bit smaller. I never wore it until I got to college. Thank goodness I kept it.

Lovelies, what’s your go-to work outfit? Do you have any older pieces that you’ve hung on to forever?

This is very cute! I would not pair two looser items together though for myself since I’m definitely not in shape (despite being on the slim side, I’m a chubby slim if you know what I mean?). Going back to school is definitely not going to stop me from wearing cute clothes to school though, I almost always dress up no matter the occasion.

thanks lovelyish!
@ashleynicole - thank you
Haha I try not to dress like I’m going to work when I go to class, so something along the lines of what I have pictured above but more “street wear.” But like you said, I do dress up, but it’s more like I sort of throw on what’s nice in the mornings since I constantly find myself late for class -__-
