Our good ol’ President visited Reddit earlier today to answer a series of user-submitted questions — and managed to crash the site while he was at it!

 “AMA” or “Ask Me Anything” is a popular thread on the site that provides a peek inside different lifestyles — kindergarteners and death row guards alike have been featured. The President of the United States, however, was something previously unheard of.

In the session, Obama responded to questions about student loan debts, the influence of money in politics, his personal life and even the White House’s beer (Answer: “I can tell from first hand experience, it is tasty.” Awesome!). The thread was so popular that the site crashed a few times from overuse.

I know that politicians have been making every attempt to reach us young voters, but I still gotta applaud Obama for being so damn cool. Even if it’s just politics being politics, it makes him seem down-to-earth and relatable.
