It looks like Giuliana Rancic will have to get used to being the news as opposed to reporting it. The 37-year-old E! News anchor and her entrepreneur husband, Bill, 41, welcomed a son on August 29th at 10:12 p.m in Denver, Colo.



People Magazine reported a series of tweets from Bill that announced the good news.

“The ‘Duke’ has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7 lbs., 4 oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!”

After Giuliana’s battles with infertility, a miscarriage and breast cancer, she and her husband chose to have a baby via gestational surrogate. In the weeks leading up to their son’s birth, the couple flew to Colorado for a “babymoon,” where they enjoyed a relaxing couples’ massage, hiking, and sight-seeing. 

As an avid E! viewer, I am over the moon about this news! The Rancics have been very open about their fertility struggles on their Style Network show “Giuliana & Bill.” Audiences were there to experience all of their successes and strife and now their time has finally arrived.
