School has been in session for almost a week now for most people. Which means you’ve probably gotten your books and supplies, and are trying desperately to get back into a normal sleeping routine. Odds are, you’re having a tough time getting your brain working again after a summer of chillin’ out.

Unless you’re the crafty type, like me. Back to school season always inspired me to make all of my supplies my own by giving them a personal touch. I hand painted so many composition books and made so many textbook covers it would make your head spin. But it was a very good way to get my brain fully functional again for learning. Here are a few simple back to school DIYs from around the web to get those creative juices flowing again.
