Usually I walk into Sephora and buy reasonably-priced, boring makeup with no frills or fancy packaging. As long as something makes me look good and fits my budget, I’ll take it. But sometimes fancy, creative packaging and artist collaborations can convince me to drop a few extra bucks on cosmetics just because, well, they look totally awesome. Which is why I will probably be scooping up several items from this new NARS Andy Warhol collection!
Pretty pretty! I particularly like the flower palette pictured above, that dark teal nail polish (it’s my favorite color) and the Debbie Harry eyeshadow. I like the looks of the Deborah Harry eye palette and the lipgloss set. I probably won’t buy any because I’m pretty well stocked and need to be frugal with my budget in the next few months. It is kind of interesting to see the colorful packaging, considering that Nars is one of the brands at Sephora with very simple packaging. I’ve seen a lot of the typical Nars products available, but only bought 1 blush, and the packaging is not very exciting. Colorful packaging is not a must for me, as long as the product works for me.
