These days, there are apps for anything and everything. Some apps are purely for fun, but I am a big fan of the apps that help you with your daily activities and/or interests and for me, that means FASHION!
These apps are inspiring, helpful, and a good way to pass time when you get the itch to shop. Here are my top 5 picks of must have fashion apps.
1. Snappette (Free)
Created in 2011, this nifty app allows you to share great fashion finds with others around the World. Users upload photos of clothing and shoes to go along with their personal description and critique of the product, which makes it very easy to decide if it is worth purchasing or not. With this app, you can also create your own virtual closet!
2. Luster (Free)
This is a fashion finder app that helps you locate anything fashion related such as; trunk shows, sample sales and stores nearest to your location. Luster would be a great app to have on your phone if you are going out of town or on vacation so that you are always in the know of the best and closest fashion finds.
3. My Style Fashion Assistant (.99)
Although you have to do a little bit of work before you can get the full use of this app, it is SO worth it, especially if you have a very organized personality like myself. First, you must take photos of all the items in your closet and then add them to your virtual closet. After that, the app does the work for you by mixing and matching items to create different looks and outfits. My favorite part of this app is it’s ability to “pack and plan” which will save you the headache of not knowing what to take when packing for a trip.
4. ShopStyle (Free)
Do you have a particular clothing item that you feel like you have been searching for since last year? This app will be the answer to finding that item. All you have to do is enter whatever it is that you have been looking for into the search bar and BOOM! It provides you with stores you can find it at and even lets you purchase on the spot if you want to.
5. Stylecaster (Free)
This app does double duty by not only telling you what the weather is outside, but what you should wear for the weather as well. Say goodbye to the days of flip flops in the unexpected rainstorm and over-sized sweaters on a day that was supposed to be overcast but turned out to be hot and muggy.
