Rat skull jewelry? Absolutely! With just a few inexpensive materials and some crafty fun, you can turn a tiny skull into something wonderful, witchy and wearable. With Halloween right around the corner, this bold DIY accessory is perfect for the cold weather season. Find out how to make your own under the cut!

Materials:

. Skull that is no more than 3 X 2 inches

. Two large jump rings

. Jump ring tool

. 24″ of chain or ribbon of your choice

. Spray can of shellac

. Black paint and paintbrush

After painting your skull and sealing the entire piece with a few good coats of shellac, allow your skull to thoroughly dry. Next, attach your jump rings in a sturdy spot, making sure it’s even on both sides (as seen above).  Attaching chain is a little trickier, so unless you already know how to do this, I would recommend stringing ribbon through the jump rings and tying a sturdy knot at the end. Add your own personal touch with glitter or beads and viola! Goth princess perfection!
