I remember when overalls were cute. My favorite pair in elementary school were extra special because they had my favorite Disney characters, Winnie-the-Pooh and Tiger on the front pocket. Looking back in pictures now, I can’t believe that anyone over the age of 10 ever donned a pair of overalls. However, lately pairs of the second grade-staple have been popping up in the blog-o-spere, and it has me wondering, are overalls making a comeback?
These cut off overalls are super cute, and surprisingly flattering since they cinch the waist. Plus, I look the elementary-school feel the sneakers give the look.
These overalls have an awesome much-needed update with the skinny leg.
I love the simplicity of this outfit! It can be easy to look like way too much is going when styling overalls, but this outfit is just right!

I don’t think they’re back full force, but maybe give it some time, I think people will be eating their words and will buy a pair of overalls in the late fall/early winter season. .. The looks, minus the cover photo you chose, are all really cute. You just need to know how to dress it up and accessorize it… and you definitely need confidence.

I love mine – and I really don’t care if other people say they’re gross. They were popular here in England a couple of summers ago and I got a lot of compliments on mine.

I lived in overalls back in the nineties. But, I don’t think it will ever get to the point where people are wearing overalls with one strap undone, over nothing but a sports bra. That’s when we know that they are back.

I don’t know about being back, but I love them.

I love them, but then again when you walk two miles to work in the middle of winter they’re super comfy and warm. My favorite pair are white and skinny legged, no pockets.

Lol you can’t believe people over 10 used to wear them? They were originally created & worn by farmers! What a ridiculous statement. Anyway, I like them, they’re useful & never fall down.

I kind of hope so. I’m almost seven months pregnant and they would be soooo comfy. In fact, I think I still have an old GAP pair in storage. I may have to dig ‘em out to wear around the house.

I used to wear overalls often, up until I was 17 or so. I don’t know if I would wear them now, though. Perhaps if they came back in style?
