Fans squealed with excitement when lovable, Sloth-obsessed actress Kristen Bell got engaged. (Or, uh, I did at least.) But that was in January 2010, and fans have been wondering why the two haven’t tied the knot yet. But now they’ve revealed a very Brad-and-Angelina-type answer!

In a recent interview with Larry King, Bell explained that she’s not going to have a wedding ceremony until gay marriage is legal in California, where she lives. She stated:

I’ll feel more comfortable having a party — or whatever we have, if anything — if half of our friends who are homosexuals [can celebrate]. It’s just kind of rude to invite everyone to a party for a rite not everyone can hold.”

But the two aren’t waiting for wedding bells to have kids. Both stars were excited about the idea of children, and Bell explained that they were fine with having them “out of wedlock.” [via US Weekly]

I’m personally thrilled that they’re still going to have kids, because if Kristen Bell and a sloth is cute, I can’t imagine how darling Kristen Bell and a baby would be!
