Part of the reason you will rarely hear of me wearing heels is because I am sort of a klutz. I am fairly graceful — thanks to ballet as a child, and I pride myself in not being the girl that walks like a tool in heels (I think it’s the worst when women don’t know how to walk in heels). But, I do, on occasion, get excited and trip over my own feet. This risk of this goes up significantly in heels and I’d just rather avoid it.
We all have our klutzy moments. Sometimes I trip over steps and cracks in the pavement (I swear they appeared out of nowhere) and bust ass in public. It happens. Sometimes it’s my own fault, and sometimes it is environmental… but, either way, it has happened to everyone at least once. Here are some celebrities caught in the midst of their “oh crap! I cant believe I just fell on my ass in public!” moment.

katie I can’t pick just one instance of falling, I do it too often. One of the most embarrassing was when I was getting onto a bus, I fell flat on my face squishing the 4 liter jug of milk I was carrying so that it exploded underneath me soaking myself and a significant portion of the bus. Need I mention that I was wearing a white top, with a white tank top underneath to cover my HOT PINK AND METALLIC BLACK LACE BRA

That be me, coming down the choir steps at church and not seeing a rather large box meant for the director to stand on because, like me, she’s short. Tripped over the dang thing, and you could hear the thud when I hit the floor. Total embarrassment. Complete. My days of pride are over.

The worst for me was on my first or second day of college ever. I was walking down the front steps of one of the buildings after class and lost my footing. I fell and, unfortunately, took down two other girls who had been walking in front of me. They were really nice about it but it was so embarrassing!!
Also, I want to see how Lady Gaga gets up again in those ridiculous boots.

notice how nearly all the women in the pictures are wearing high heels, or other unstable footwear. It’s excusable to trip or fall when you are wearing flats, boots, stable supportive footwear. But I place the blame squarely on the women and their choice of damaging and bad footwear podiatrists in Hollywood must make a fortune.
