I am just excited to see a picture of Avril where she isn’t still wearing the same thing that she was wearing when she made Skater Boy.

I couldn’t care less. Hate NickleBack and never liked Avril… It sucked in grade 7 in Canada when she was SOOO popular o.O

Don’t care for either of their music, but thats just my opinion… but I wish my fellow Canadians all the best!

It’s acted like some big secret, they were together for 6 months, that’s not a big secret. 

i didn’t know her previous marriage already ended! i can’t say i’m happy about her engagement to the singer of nickelback.

I’m a bit insulted by the emphasis you put on “and only for six months”. I knew my husband less than six months when we married each other (and only seven weeks of those were we actively dating) and one of his best friends asked his wife of eleven years to marry him after they’d only be dating a month. Literally, he woke her up from a nap with a wedding ring and they’ve been together eleven years now 

Six months is only a long time if you’re still debating if that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. For some of us we got incredibly lucky, met someone, realized we couldn’t live the rest of our lives together and that was it. I feel horribly bad for people that date for years and have long-drawn engagements. Why are you so uncertain? Are you trying to fall in love? Do you think you need more time? This is love, not healing. It doesn’t take time. It happens and you hold on for the ride of your life.

I couldn’t be more happy for them! I have a great sense of humor, but this whole “let’s all hate nickelback” thing is getting SO FREAKING OLD. They’ve been around for so long and suddenly y’all hipster freaks go after them like they suck beyond anything else on this goddamn planet. I’m a proud Canadian, and NOT a follower, I’m a big fan of both of them, THEREFORE… I wish them the best.

That’s sort of funny. They can sit and talk together how both of their music is seen “guilty pleasure” by thse who listen to it.  Haha.
No offense, I don’t hate them, I actually loved both when I was younger, and I still think the music is okay, even when I like other things better.
