See, if these were cats they’d say things like: “I scratched the shit out of this little kid” or “My piss and shit smells way worse than anything that a dog could produce” (true story, all cats) or “I piss on your carpet every time you piss me off” or “I destroyed your door/couch/anything with all my scratching” or “I like to try and drink out of glasses of water, then I like to knock them over either way” or “Fresh laundry? Oh cool let me sleep on that and get it covered in hair for you” or “I take really smelly shits right after you change the litter box.”

Dog lover here. I’ll take the occasional “Yeah I totally ate your slice of pizza when you got up to get the bread sticks” over anything a cat does on a daily basis. The worst thing my dog does is now, in her old age, she likes to bark to demand anything she wants. Kinda like a baby.

Yes! I found this on BuzzFeed last night and it has brought so much joy into my life. I love that some of the dogs look SO guilty! 
My dog likes to eat our cat’s poop and steal socks then run around the house; she definitely warrants a submission on the site haha

@blackspiders@xanga - Heh. I feel ya. I was always more of a cat person until I got my first Doberman. Now I’ll take dogs over cats any day of the week (that’s not to say that I hate cats, I still have two and I’ll always keep a couple of cats around, but they don’t even come close to touching a dog’s loyalty and companionship). 

That said, these dogs don’t give a damn what those cards say, because they can’t read them.

Ha, these made me giggle. 

I love cats and dogs, but I’m more of a dog person. I don’t necessarily like the idea of dogshaming, simply because it isn’t nice, but some of those were cute. Some things you just can’t avoid with a dog and you just have to deal with. I laughed at those. They were really funny. Some of those cards just show that the owner isn’t doing the right things, as they can be easily avoided. Just sayin’.

I thought my dog was the only dog that barked when a door is knocked on or a doorbell is rang on TV.

I was a dog person until I got cats. Now I am a cat person, that loves dogs.  Though, sometimes I wish he would turn into a cat when he is barking at dogs on the TV.

oh this is awesome. man, i need to do this for my dogs. i just chased my dog half a mile and across 4 lanes of traffic after she ran out of the house. then i had to carry her 60+ pound butt the entire way home cause she just took a bath and didn’t have her collar or leash. 

Definitely a dog person.  Don’t like cats. The dogs here definitely look guilty.

Dog person because I’m allergic to cats. My dog is just ridiculous and I think he fakes stuff for attention. And gets really mean if he tell his he’s been a “bad dog”. I should do one of these for “I ate the wall because my dad wouldn’t let me be in the bathroom with him”. Hands down the worst thing he’s ever done, and just because he was pissed about not being allowed in the bathroom. My dog is an 80 lb brat.

@ulvenNixie@xanga - I thinks it’s fine as long as the person isn’t literally sitting there shaming the dog in a way they understand and will negatively respond to (like telling them they are a bad after the fact when they don’t understand what they did that was “bad”)

@Digital_Angel21@xanga - :D Agreed,… reprimanding has to happen fairly immediately, or they just don’t understand. I loved the story you told about your dog eating the wall because he couldn’t be in the bathroom, lol. I’m lucky, my dog is pretty good.  I think only one I could really make for something like this would be “I tore up an entire newspaper because I didn’t want to be alone for a few hours”. That was when she was a puppy though. *shrugs* She’s my sweetheart

I’m both a dog AND cat person, there’s qualities in all of them. But these pictures are so funny! I especially love the expressions on the faces.
