Beyoncé is best known for her killer vocals, magnificent style and, let’s be honest, her boatloads of cash. But, like most celebrities, she’s also a philanthropist, which is probably why she was made the ambassador for World Humanitarian Day. And now Bey has released a video for her newest single, called “Here,” that honors humanitarians across the world. Watch the moving piece by clicking here!
The visuals in that video were truly inspiring! I think this is a great tribute to humanitarians everywhere. Head on over to the source to read more! [via Unicorn Booty]
What did you think of this music video?

I think this is probably my favorite song of hers. I loved it.

OMG. I feel a bit better knowing that I do my small little part to help out others, if only everyone in the world did there small part it would make the biggest difference..

Is this the same woman who rented out an entire floor of the hospital just to have her babies, and security wouldn’t allow anyone else to come on that floor?

Wow. I love this.

That was fantastic.

@AngelAsh_86@xanga - She’s singing this not about herself, but about all the humanitarians who have helped out in disasters. That’s why there are tear drops with the words “I was here” over those people.

@NorCal_ish@xanga - I still find it hypocritical that she goes and helps people in other countries, yet is still such a diva in the U.S.

@AngelAsh_86@xanga - she actually started a cosmetology school in Brooklyn that helps women earn their cosmetology licenses for free. in addition she’s listed as one of the biggest Katrina relief contributors…in addition to I’m sure a bunch of other things that aren’t publicized. kinda sad that all you took away from this video (which clearly as the other poster stated ISN’T about Beyonce) is that she’s a diva. ..just can’t please some people.
anyway I love this song. it’s one of my favorites from her as well. I actually played it nonstop last summer when my cousin passed away so every single time I hear it I start bawling, and this time was no exception.

@WorthmorethanRubies@xanga - Okay first of all, I did not even watch the video. At all. Secondly, I did not realize that she started a cosmetology school to help women, and was a Katrina relief contributor. Excuse me for not knowing.
