Everyone has a super random special talent. Some people can tie a cherry stem in a knot with their tongue, some can do a backflip and others can speak Pig Latin. I happen to be blessed with the ability to quote movies word-for-word. Here are five of my favorites to quote:
Mean Girls
I have loved this movie since it came out 8 years ago and have seen it countless times. I can say every word in Mean Girls, including Regina’s George’s amazing monologue about Janice Ian.
Legally Blonde

I fell in love with Elle Woods when first viewing this movie and have now seen it enough times that I’ve memorized the entire thing.
The Devil Wears Prada

Magazines have always been one of my biggest passions, so I was ecstatic when The Devil Wears Prada was released and portrayed the work environment of a high-end fashion magazine. Although Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are wonderful as the main characters, in my opinion, the real stars of this movie are Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. I love quoting their snarky lines about Miranda Priestly and the crazy world of fashion.
10 Things I Hate About You

This movie was one of the best teen comedies to come out of the 90s. Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are both amazing and make me want to watch it over and over.
She’s the Man

Before Amanda Bynes got a DUI and quit her acting career via Twitter, she starred in She’s the Man. Although sometimes cheesy, this movie is one of my favorites. Plus, it shows Channing Tatum’s chiseled chest in all its glory. What’s not to love?
Are there any movies you can quote word-for-word? Let me know in the comments!

I’m shocked and a little bit upset that you don’t know Forrest Gump word for word. I do. And Jurassic Park.

@pick_my_friggin_nose@xanga - Oh my gosh, Crybaby! Sometimes I wonder if people remember this movie when remembering all of Johnny Depp’s glory.
Dirty Dancing, Center Stage, Sweeney Todd, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pleasantville, Spiderman, and obviously CryBaby.

@deadroseawaiting - It’s definitely a movie not many people know even though Johnny Depp’s one of the best known actors in the world and John Waters has a huge following. I prefer his Hairspray over the remake version directed by Kenny Ortega, although I did enjoy the remake as well.

@pick_my_friggin_nose@xanga - John Waters . . .he did Cecil B. Demented too, right? I love both versions of Hairspray, though Ricki Lake was the far superior Tracy Turnbald. I think that CryBaby was one of Johnny Depp’s best earlier films, for all of it’s corniness and complete insanity.

@deadroseawaiting - I didn’t watch that movie, but I believe so… I thought Nicki Blonsky played Tracy Turnblad as too perky. Ricki Lake pulled it off great. I think it’s one of Johnny Depp’s best movies as well.. That’s the beauty of John Waters’ movies: they’re all meant to be like B rated films, but he pulls it off so effortlessly!

@pick_my_friggin_nose@xanga - Oh, Cecil B. Demented is great. So is Serial Mom, another John Waters and Ricki Lake collaboration that is just awesome . ..and freakishly dead on about some moms. I think at the time when a lot of his films were first coming out, the demographic that they hit was more primed for under rated, snarky humor than for mature, bookish movies so his stuff was better received than they had anticipated. Which is great because without the low-budget, sometimes tackiness of the sets they probably wouldn’t have been as great. and the great acting of course.
