There’s nothing catchier than an Adele tune. Those songs just get caught in your head and wriggle around in your brain until you can’t help but sing or hum or whistle it out. But Adele isn’t the only performer who can do her songs justice. Here are my five favorite covers of Adele songs.

1. Someone Like You, covered by Charlie Puth and Emily Luther

This song was born to be sung as a duet. Their voices blend so beautifully and their harmonies are tight, which makes this song (even) more emotional than the original version.

2. Rumor Has It/Someone Like You, covered by the Glee Cast

It feels a bit like cheating to put a Glee version on this list (especially since I don’t even watch the show), but this version is amazing. I could listen to the way they blend these two songs together for hours and hours on end. It doesn’t hurt that the Amber Riley and Naya Rivera have killer voices, either.

3. Rolling In The Deep, covered by Sam Tsui and Tyler Ward

I’ve heard a million different duets of this song before, but this one has always been my favorite. Though they’ve kind of got the whole “whiny” thing going on, these two guys harmonize beautifully, and give this overplayed hit a fresh, new edge.

4. Turning Tables, covered by Andrew Machum

I really love the way Andrew interprets this song. It’s much quieter and more personal the way he sings it, like he’s speaking directly to you, and only you. His voice is lovely and the arrangement is simple. Love it.

5. Rolling In The Deep, covered by John Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson

Though there is a version with lyrics, this cello/piano duet is absolutely stunning on its own. It gives the song a new twist, and almost sounds like something from a movie soundtrack. If I didn’t need to sleep or function in society, I could listen to this song forever.
