Maybe this is just me, but I’ve always thought that shoes are the easiest part of an outfit to choose. After taking the trouble to piece together a cute ensemble, it’s pretty difficult to choose shoes that are terrible enough to ruin the entire outfit. I would think this to be especially true for celebrities, who can not only afford hundreds of pairs of designer shoes, but a stylist to choose the most appropriate pair. So how can some celebs make such colossally bad decisions when it comes to footwear? Today, Lovelies, I present to you some of the worst mistakes in celebrity shoes.

From knee-high fringed boots to legging-boots (yes, boots attached to a pair of leggings), celebrities have certainly been busy experimenting with some strange styles. I have to say, some of these shoes are not just ugly, but look downright uncomfortable! I can’t imagine spending more than five minutes walking around in a pair of shoes that are both bizarre and painful. I can’t choose which I liked the least, but I would rank the fringe-covered bulky boots pretty high on the “Not My Fave” list, followed by any Ugg-type boots.

Maybe I’m not seeing it that clearly on my phone, but Rihanna, Madonna, & Mary Kate (Ashley?) don’t look too bad. LOL at the mismatched shoes in the last pic. At least they’re the same style!

@PAPER__x__HEART@xanga it may be hard to see on your phone, but Madonna’s heels are made out of revolvers (terrifying), and Rihanna is the one wearing the legging-boot contraption! Ashley’s aren’t the worst, but they are some seriously extreme gladiator sandals.

I like the shoes that Madonna and Ashley are wearing (and I can see them clearly). The rest are hideous or they didn’t intend to be photographed wearing them.

I’m never impressed with starlet’s shoes. They’ve gotten worse over the years. And now, having bad hips, and seeing what regular use of high healed shoes did to my grandmother’s back, I really think these stars are setting a bad example for our little girls. Just look at the X-rays of the backs of these women who’ve lived in some of these shoes for 20 years or so. Awful, just awful. I always see them when I’m at the mall, in my walking shoes. Some poor ladies trying to walk and keep up with their partners, looking absolutely miserable, while I pass by like Im doing laps.

I really only saw something wrong Avril’s shoes.. the rest either fit their personality, outfit, purpose in that outfit, or I saw what they were going for.
The weird girl with the red jacket.. the whole outfit was bad, so you can’t just bash the shoes; you gotta just say the whole thing sucked. Haha
