It’s all about frienemies, wedding hijinks, and the meaning of true friendship. And it looks like the closest thing we have so far to an all-girl-version of The Hangover. 

Here’s what we know of the plotline so far: A nice girl getting married (Rebel Wilson) invites a few of her friends to be her bridesmaids. Sounds innocent, right? Well, it turns out these bridesmaids (Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan). They party hard, cause drama, and even rip the wedding dress! Not the best people you want as part of your wedding, it seems.

Here’s the interesting thing about this movie: Becky (the bride) was the dork of the group back in the day, and yet she seems the most happy as an adult. It’s almost a Revenge of the Nerds kind of message. According to info released about the movie, the group of bridesmaids sound like they used to be pretty cruel to Becky, even calling her “Pig Face” when they were in school . So why would she choose them to be involved in one of the most memorable days of her life? It’s a whole different kind of “chick flick,” indeed.
