Kate Beckinsale appeared at a Total Recall press event in Berlin wearing this Zac Posen sheath dress. She completed the outfit with a pair of bright blue Louboutins and gold jewelry.
While I love the body-conscious fit of the dress, it’s thrown off by the peasant-top style of the collar and sleeves. To me, it feels like it’s two different dresses sewn together into one. And I think the color of the dress and the color of the heels are both fabulous — just not together. Still, the more I look at this ensemble, the more I can’t decide if I like it or not.

you’re right about the dress. the peasant style top portion is nice and flowy, but the bottom half of the dress is really slim and form fitting. try imagining this dress without the sleeves, it looks so much better!

it looks like the corset bodice is pushing her boobs too high. it does look like she wore the body contouring shaper outside of her shirt than underneath it, but that’s probably how the dress was designed. the sheer top is sexy but subtle

I really like the colors of the dress and the shoes, but I don’t like them together. The sleeves should go.

The dress is gorgeous in its own right. The shoes look like they’re velvety. I’m not sure how I feel about them. They shouldn’t have been paired together though. That’s for sure.

I like that dress, it’s more a fall dress. Cap sleeves would look nice on it though.
The shoes are not OK. A nude pump would have been better.
The gold jewelry is perfect.
