I love it when election-year themed art and media spring up. It’s a great way for people to express themselves, and it can sometimes lead to really cool stuff that wouldn’t have existed otherwise. But unfortunately, a lot of people use art to voice political beliefs in a harsh way. Like this meme — I tried to pick out the least offensive ones of the bunch, but it was pretty hard.

But we shouldn’t give up hope! Let’s keep on making politics-themed stuff. But I’m begging you, from one citizen of the Internet to everyone else: Please keep it fun. That’s what art is supposed to be, right?
