Happy Monday, everyone!
Just kidding: like Garfield, most of us hate Mondays. But I have a little treat to brighten up the beginning of your week, and, as usual, it involves cats. Cats in costumes, actually. The Algonquin Hotel in New York has a resident cat named Matilda, and last week was her 15th birthday. And what better way to celebrate than with a cat fashion (Catshion?) show? Check out some great shots from it by clicking here!
Guys, seriously: is there nothing cuter than a sleeping kitten dressed up as Napoleon? Though I am also thoroughly entertained by the perturbed looks that lots of cats are wearing in these shots. I guess they just don’t like being dressed up as Cleopatra or Edward Cullen (fourth photo) for some reason?

Which costume is your favorite?

Aww, the cat in the tutu is adorable! I really like that cake with all the cat-related stuff. Anyway, most of the cats here seem to be thinking, “This is so demeaning.”

Those cats looked so pissed off and the ones that don’t look like they are thinking you may have won this time, but watch out.
