Ryan Lochte is undoubtedly one of the more well-known individuals competing in the 2012 Olympic Games. Not only did he achieve fame by beating Michael Phelps to become an Olympic gold medalist, but his adorable looks and unique fashion sense are winning the hearts of ladies across the nation. And obviously, to solidify his rise to global stardom, Lochte has become the face of another Internet meme— one you may already be familiar with!
I’m sure many of you Lovelies are well acquainted with the ‘Hey Girl’ meme featuring Ryan Gosling. Personally, I love them. If possible, that meme made him even more adorable than I originally thought. Now Gosling may have some meme competition, with none other than cute, athletic swim sensation Ryan Lochte, who is saying “Hey” to all the girls on the Internet from his place in the pool. I have to be honest, though. While Lochte is athletic, talented, and undeniably attractive, I can’t help but think that Gosling is pretty much irreplaceable in the ‘Hey Girl’ meme. It’s a tough call!
What do you think of Ryan Lochte’s ‘Hey Girl’ meme, Lovelies?

Hey lovelyish,
STOP WITH THE GALLERY BULLSHIT!

I second @gettin_skinnay. Can’t even view the damned galleries on the mobile app!

Everyone should just agree to stop commenting on posts that use the gallery format. No one likes it, so lovelyish should be forced to change it.
Also, Ryan Lochte seems like a douche, and isn’t a good fit for a cute meme. Ryan Gosling on the other hand…

ryan gosling is clearly the more attractive of the two, so i think the “hey girl” memes are his department.

After seeing the derpy meme of him, I just read these all in a derpy voice. Kinda ruins it haha. Seriously, he is seems like a guy that is meant to sit there and look good, and just…no talky.
