This year was a big one for the U.S. Women’s gymnastics team. But it seems we forgot about another category in gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics. All of a sudden, McKayla’s perfect vault isn’t quite so impressive. These gymnasts throw props into the mix, instantly making regular ol’ gymnastics look boring and renewing my desire to get really good at hoola-hooping.

Maybe I missed it, but why aren’t they airing more of this event? It looks so awesome!! Here are some incredible GIFs from the rhythmic gymnastics event that will blow your mind.
