Batman and now Spiderman have recently gone into Reboot Mode. But there are some new superheroes coming your way, and they’re unlike any you’ve ever seen! 

Oops, someone leaked that Marvel was releasing a “Guardians of the Galaxy” reboot! Oh well. Personally, I didn’t eve know who these heroes were until I stumbled upon this handy-dandy guide. So I come bearing knowledge, Lovelies! Just don’t want any of us look silly come 2014…

The one in front with the guns is Star-Lord. He’s a bit like Batman: A mysterious figure with mysterious parentage, whose brain is a large part of what makes him so super. But it definitely helps that he wields an Element Gun. This little baby is basically all the powers of the Captain Planet kids combined, shooting out air, water, earth and fire.

That big tree looming over everyone? That’s Groot, a tree that’s smarter than you and I will probably ever be. Though originally a bad guy (he originally came to earth to capture humans to study them), but he eventually came around to being an all-around good guy. Which is good, as he is enormous and can completely regenerate himself, even if only a single twig of him remains…


Unfortunately, there’s only one lady on staff with the Guardians — Gamora. She’s a tough lady, literally designed from birth to be a weapon of war. She’s also the very last of her species, the Zen Whoberi (it seems like a lot of superheroes are the last of their kind, doesn’t it?). Sadly, she isn’t shown in a lot of pictures on the Internet depicting the Guardians. Here’s what that picture up top should include:
