Happy birthday, Mr. President! Being a man of many suits, I figured you’d probably like a little fashionista love on your special day. 

When most of the American public first got to know Barack Obama,  a lot of us were impressed by his fashion sense. Even during his often-ridiculed “dad jeans” phase, our president still looked like a head of state. He even defended his dad jeans to the press, which is just freaking awesome.

They make him look like a cowboy! Legit.

I don’t care what your politics are: It’s nice to have a head of state who knows how to look professional. It can sometimes even increase people’s trust in them, because they know how to project a more refined image to the world. If someone’s the head of a country as big as America, it makes sense that they should try to look as swanky as possible to the world.

And come on, if a comedian can use your love of well-tailored suits to set up a joke about your campaign, you must be doing something right!
